Bankruptcy Bar Advisory Committees
for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas
The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas has established separate Bankruptcy Bar Advisory Committees for Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. These committees will generally focus on areas such as common concerns, ways for the Clerk’s Office to improve its operation, and any upcoming changes of importance. The committees are comprised of practicing debtor and creditor bankruptcy attorneys as well as the Assistant United States Trustee, a Standing Chapter 13 Trustee, a Standing Chapter 7 Trustee, and the Clerk of Court. Meetings occur twice a year.
Membership on the committees is organized by the Clerk, based on a selection process with the Judges.
