National Archives and Records Administration Federal Records Center (FRC)

The NARA Federal Records Center (FRC) stores case file information for cases that are not electronically stored in ECF. Generally, cases filed before 2001 will be stored at the FRC.

The FRC cannot process any request without the following information:

FRC Accession number;
FRC Location number;
Agency box number;
Case number;
Case Style;

If you know the case number for the case you are trying to retrieve, please click on the appropriate District below and search using that case number. When the form appears, please print using your browser’s print function.

If you do not have a case number, you can retrieve it by calling our automated Multiple Court Voice Case Information System (McVCIS) at 1-866-222-8029.
