Free Trial Practices Seminar

Mark your calendars for March 11, 2022.  The James G. Mixon Trial Practices Seminar is scheduled for Friday, March 11, 2022, at the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock.  The seminar will focus on trial practice and there is no cost to attend.  Six panels or speakers will present for one hour each, including one hour of ethics. Tentative speakers include:  Hon. Brian S. Miller and Hon. James M. Moody, Jr., U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas; Hon. Mackie Pierce, Arkansas Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pulaski and Perry Counties; Hon. Phyllis M. Jones, Hon. Richard D. Taylor, and Hon. Bianca M. Rucker, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas; Mr. William Griffin, III, Attorney with Friday Eldredge & Clark, LLP; Ms. Mary-Tipton Thalheimer, Attorney with Rose Law Firm; and Professor Robert Minarcin, William H. Bowen School of Law.  Please note that a request for approval of 6 hours continuing legal education credit will be made in advance of the seminar.   Information regarding registration for the seminar will be sent at a later date.
