For those of you who practice before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Arkansas, you may want to calendar the dates listed below for your planning purposes.  As many of you are aware, the Honorable Ben T. Barry is retiring effective April 25, 2021.  Anticipating that his successor may have conflicts requiring recusal, Judge Richard D. Taylor will hold shadow Fayetteville divisional days on the following dates: 

Friday, June 4

Tuesday, July 13

Friday, August 27

Tuesday, September 14

Tuesday, October 5

Tuesday, November 16

The shadow dates will involve solely cases set in the Fayetteville Division.  Affected parties may also request special settings on dates to be determined.  Any request for a special setting should be made to Taylor Ellis, staff attorney in  Judge Taylor’s Little Rock chambers.
